01 / COMMITMENT

Our zero-tolerance standard

Joyi prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, and any sexual contact involving a minor.

ABSTRACT CONCEPTS INC. operates Joyi and publishes it on Google Play under Abstract Core. This policy applies to the Android app and the public policy page at https://himiti.app/joyi/child-safety-policy.html.

02 / AGE

Adult-only access

Joyi is intended only for users who are at least 18. We may use age declarations, account history, region, reports, device signals, and proportionate verification to enforce that boundary. An age gate cannot ensure that every person provides a truthful answer.

If an account appears to belong to a minor, we can restrict access, request suitable verification, remove the account, prevent repeated sign-up attempts, retain limited safety records, and cooperate with lawful authorities.

03 / TERMS

What CSAE and CSAM mean

CSAE means conduct or content that sexually abuses, exploits, grooms, traffics, solicits, coerces, or otherwise targets a child. CSAM means material in any format that depicts or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.

A child is a person under 18, subject to broader protections that may apply locally. An offer, request, link, coded invitation, attempted transfer, or instruction involving CSAM is a serious violation even where no file is received.

04 / PROHIBITED

Conduct that will lead to action

  • creating, possessing, producing, requesting, offering, selling, seeking, sharing, storing, or linking to CSAM;
  • grooming, sexualized messages or calls, sexual solicitation, sexual extortion, or trafficking involving a minor;
  • asking a child to move to another service, hide contact, keep a secret, send intimate material, or meet in person;
  • threatening, coercing, bribing, blackmailing, or impersonating someone to reach a child;
  • sexualizing a minor through material claimed to be fictional, altered, generated, or consensual; and
  • helping anyone bypass an age boundary, block, investigation, restriction, or enforcement action.

Harassment, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats, doxxing, and sexual violence are also forbidden because they create serious safety risks.

05 / REPORT

How to report safely

Use the report tool on the relevant profile, message, media, or call context. Select the closest reason, provide an account identifier and approximate time, and use block or call-end controls to stop contact.

Do not download, copy, forward, repost, or email suspected CSAM. Only preserve lawful locating details, such as an account name, account ID, event time, or report reference. If a child faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority first. Joyi is not an emergency service.

You may also write to AngeliAmatb@gmail.com with subject “Joyi Child Safety Report.” Do not attach suspected CSAM. We may ask for clarifying information that is safe and proportionate to provide.

06 / RESPONSE

Review and enforcement process

  1. Reports are triaged for urgency and available locating details.
  2. We may end a call, restrict an account, hide material, or limit visibility while reviewing.
  3. Authorized personnel may assess relevant account, report, content, call-metadata, device, and prior-enforcement context for the safety purpose.
  4. We may remove material, close accounts, block re-registration, retain necessary evidence, and report to a competent authority or qualified safety organization.
  5. When safe, lawful, and available, we may offer correction or appeal. Serious risk controls may remain in effect during an appeal.

We do not promise an immediate response or predetermined result. Safety evidence is held only as reasonably needed for reporting, legal compliance, investigation integrity, and prevention of repeat abuse.

07 / EXTERNAL

Authorities and external reporting

We comply with applicable child-safety reporting and cooperation duties. The correct reporting destination depends on the facts, location, legal requirements, and risk. Joyi does not claim every report goes to one organization worldwide.

In the United States, the NCMEC CyberTipline is an external official reporting website operated by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, not by Joyi.

We may provide relevant information to law enforcement, child-protection agencies, courts, qualified safety organizations, or necessary providers where required or reasonably needed to address serious harm. Notice can be delayed if it could endanger a child, compromise an investigation, or breach a legal restriction.

08 / CONTACT

Privacy, deletion, and named contact

The Privacy Policy explains safety-related processing and retention. An account deletion request does not require destruction of evidence needed for serious safety investigation, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or protection of a person. The Account Deletion page describes the user-requested deletion process.

Sofia is Joyi's named child-safety contact and can explain the review, enforcement, and escalation process. This person is not presented as holding a statutory privacy title. Questions and reports may be sent to AngeliAmatb@gmail.com. Related account rules are in the Terms of Use.
